Rattles is an out-of-the ordinary cat. Having been born on a farm and living in a barn among wild cats, Rattles is unusually charming and has the most endearing purr. When the grandchildren visit Grandma on the farm, they fall in love with Rattles. Problems develop, however, and the grandchildren decide to take Rattles back home in the city with them.
